Posters and Placemats

Posters and placemats are helpful tools for extending client education. Used in conjunction with live training, they make nice quick-reference pieces to reinforce the learnings (while looking good enough that they might get hung up at a desk).

Featured 1: Airbnb

Airbnb—being a massive, international org with far more than a handful of content developers—had a few nagging issues with some common core email elements. To help with this, a simple, appealing, and brand-aligned poster was created for content developers to have handy for those little things that have the potential to slip through the cracks. Rather than relying on folks to sift through a massive brand book for answers, this quick-reference poster helped solved consistency issues and reduce QA errors that were slowing down deployment times.

Featured 2: Capital Group

The Capital Group “writers’ room” was used to long-form writing, and struggled with writing for email—particularly subject lines. A workshop was held for this group, with this placemat as a leave-behind. The challenge here was fitting a large amount of content into a fixed space, as this group (being in the financial space) needed explicit detail broken down into industry-relevant examples. This training effort yielded a much more email-savvy group of writers producing email-optimized content more quickly and with more confidence than ever before.
